Diving Club Phoenix is a well organised and professional diving club. Security, good equipment and friendly & enthousiastic diving instructors are the ingredients you will experience. Nach 4 Tauchgängen pure Begeisterung. Das Team ist einfach unglaublich freundlich und steht einem jederzeit für Fragen bei. Der Tauchplatz "Alter Hafen" ist schön und es gibt relativ viel zu sehen, darunter auch Seepferdchen, Oktopoden Drachenköpfe und eine wunderbare Unterwasserlandschaft. Die Betreuung ist aufgrund der kleinen Gruppen sehr persönlich und die Preise im Vergleich zu den anderen Tauchschulen in Plakias sehr fair! Bei meinem nächsten Aufenthalt auf Kreta ist dies auf jeden Fall die erste Anlaufstelle wenn es um das Tauchen geht. - Lukas P.

Well this was our 10th visit to Plakias in 11 years and time to go and dive with Phoenix again. The set up and safe systems are the same but unlike some centres that pair everything to the bone Phoenix continues to invest in new kit and technology. I celebrated my 100th Dive with them and the bubbly was lovely post dive. If you are in Plakias and want to learn or do some diving, take word of advice from me and ask any local who teaches the locals to dive ? I bet Iit will be Isabella and Sonja at Phoenix. - Andrew M.

In this way thank you for PADI training and the always exciting dives at the house reef at the old port of Damnoni. Who wants to experience great individual dives without stress needs to choose this divecenter. I highly recommend this divecenter for a diving course. I return again and again to Phoenix Dive Club to dive the house reef. Short preparation times, individual care, Isabella and Sonia offer a very safe way to explore the underwater world with superb equipment and acknowledgement. You were taken by pickup to the divespots (5 min), it goes easily into water and after a few meters you will find steep cliffs up to 40 m depth, caves, endless blue, there are groupers, lobsters, squid, octopus, monk fish in rave, Scorpion fish, moray eels, etc. This year isabelle works at the dive center. The Briefings are also availible in french language. If you love nature and secure relaxed dives you have to visit Phoenix Dive Club. There ist also a 2. nd center at the HAPIMAG resort, the easiest way to get under water while the youngsters are at the kidsclub or learn how to snorkel even by advice of isabella. J'ai plongée avec Isabella et Rafa pendant mes vacances à Plakias, un régal !
Plongée en petit groupe, loin des gros dive center de la ville, sur des spots magnifiques (poulpe, lion fish, dragon fish, grouper etc...) tout en détente et sécurité avec Isabella, le tout pour un tarif plus que raisonnable.
Si vous souhaitez profitez au mieux de votre plongée et évitez les "refresh dive" des gros dive center, ce club est le meilleur de loin en ville ! - Vincent-Voyager - June 2019
“I am not a fish”: that was my sentence in the past to avoid the several invitations I had for diving. And nowdays.. I am a fish. I took the big step to do the DSD (bautizo in Spanish). I felt so comfortable with my diver guide Rafaelyo.
I discovered a new world under water. In two days I started with the Scuba Diver Course. Sonia taught me patiently every step. All the time I felt I was in the best hands. Isabella gave me the motivation to study, review and to practice my buoyancy in the pool and all the skills necessary to pass the test. The rest of the team were also taking care of everything flew like the see water.
Now at home I can see how lucky I was to have had this high quality introduction to the see the world under water.
Also, the premises of the dive club were full of equipment and always tidy. The water was clear and calm, in the wetsuit I didn’t feel any cold .
All this reasons have made me be entangled in the net of Diving.

Da wir als Familie das Tauchen lernen wollten, haben wir uns bei Isabella für den Open Water angemeldet. Ich hatte sehr viel Respekt vor dem Tauchen und dem langen Aufenthalt unter Wasser. Isabella und ihr herzliches Team haben mich mit viel Einfühlungsvermögen aufgenommen. Sonja hat es mit ihrer ganzen Erfahrung und ruhigen Art dann ganz schnell geschafft, dass ich mich entspannen konnte und das Tauchen genießen. Man merkt an vielen Details die professionelle Einstellung und Erfahrung von Isabella und Sonja, aber auch die Leidenschaft, die beide für die Unterwasserwelt und für Menschen, die sie erkunden möchten, haben. Excellent accueil de l’equipe d’Isabella, pionnière de la plongée sur l’Ile.
Tout le personnel est tres sympathique , et tres pro, et le site de Plakias pres du vieux port est magnifique. Je ne m’attendais pas a trouver une telle diversité de flore et de faune . Recif corralien, grotte naturelle, lion fish, stone fish, octopus, homard , etc....tout ca dans une eau limpide a 26 degres.
Je recommande vivement .

Endlich habe ich mich für einen Tauchkurs entschieden. Zum Glück!! Gut vorbereitet mit Theorie, Erklärungen und Pooleinheit und viiiel Respekt vorm ersten Tauchgang im Meer ging es dann los. Mit viel Geduld und Ruhe ging es ab ins Meer. Es war grandios. Trotz anfänglicher Probleme bzgl. Druckausgleich wurde mir die Angst bzw Bedenken mit einfühlsamen Gesprächen vor dem nächsten Tauchgang genommen. Und der Tauchgang war wunderbar...wieder mit viel Ruhe und Geduld und das Aufmerksam machen auf die Unterwassertierchen, mit anschließender Erklärung welche Tierchen wie heißen!!
Ich bedanke mich für die angenehme und ruhige Stimmung und würde mich freuen, beim nächsten Urlaub wieder mit euch zu tauchen!! Danke an die gesamte Crew!! :) - Tschoei_G - July 2019
Open Water
Das Meer am Damnoni Strand ist wunderschön und die Fische, welche von Afrika kommen, sind in voller Pracht zu sehen. Die Ausbildnerin und der Ausbildner waren immer nett und sie konnten und auch einiges beibringen. Definitiv eine Reise wert und bis nächstes Jahr. - DominicSeiler - July 2019

On our first day on vacations we found the diving school and immediately decided to learn how to dive. Sonja guided us through the course with a lot of care and dedication. It was absolutely amazing and sooo much fun. We always felt safe and in great hands. The equipment is in great shape and everyone is just so nice. Thank you for the great time, Sonja and Isabella!!!!
Wir sind seit 20 Jahren mehr als begeistert von Isabella und Ihrem Team. Kompetenz und Verantwortungsbewusstsein zusammen mit griechischer Leichtigkeit wird hier gelebt.
